Peyote

What is it?

Peyote is a tiny boneless cactus, which is scientifically known as Lophophora williams ii, having the 3, 4, 5-trimethoxyphenethylamine Peyote(hallucinogen mescaline) that is the main active ingredient. From initial recorded time, peyote has been used by inhabitants in the south-western United States and northern Mexico as an element of their religious rites.

What is the active constituent in it?

It is Mescaline, which is naturally happening psychedelic lived in numerous cactus species, most remarkably San Pedro. Numerous other member of the trichocereus family also consists of mescaline.
